1. Acceptance of These Terms

By using visions-reality.net, requesting an estimate or contacting us through this site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. About Us and Our Licence

Visions to Reality Inc. is a Florida certified general contractor, licence CGC1539602, operating from 2868 NW 6th CT, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33311. We are a service-area business: we work at your property and do not receive customers at that address.

We perform only work covered by our licence and any permits issued for your project. You can verify our licence with the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation, and we encourage you to do so.

3. Website Content

We work to keep this site accurate, but product specifications, manufacturer offerings, building code requirements and pricing all change. Nothing on this site is a guarantee that a particular product, option, price or timeline will be available for your project.

Project photographs show work we have completed. Results vary with the property, the products chosen and site conditions - they illustrate our workmanship, they are not a promise of an identical outcome.

4. Estimates and Quotes

Requesting an estimate does not create a contract and places you under no obligation. Any figure given before we have visited and measured the property is an approximation only.

A written estimate is valid for the period stated on it. Prices may change if material costs move, if the scope changes, or if conditions are found during the work that were not visible at the time of the estimate - rot, prior unpermitted work, structural problems around an opening, or similar. We will tell you before doing anything that changes the price, and any change will be agreed in writing.

6. Permits and Inspections

Impact window and door replacement requires a permit in Broward, Miami-Dade and Palm Beach counties, and the work must pass inspection. Unless your contract says otherwise, we pull the permits for your project and schedule the inspections.

Permit fees are set by the local building department, not by us, and are charged at cost unless your contract states they are included. Building department review and inspection scheduling are outside our control, and delays there can move a project timeline. If your property is in an HOA or condominium association, obtaining their approval is your responsibility, and we will provide the documentation they ask for.

7. Warranties

Two separate warranties usually apply to a project:

• Manufacturer's warranty - covers the windows, doors and materials themselves. Its terms, length and claim process are set by the manufacturer, and we pass the documentation to you on completion.
• Our workmanship warranty - covers our installation, for the period stated in your contract.

Neither warranty covers damage from misuse, accident, alteration or repair by others, lack of maintenance, storm or flood damage beyond the product's rating, or normal wear. Our workmanship warranty is void on any balance that remains unpaid.

9. Payment

Deposits, progress payments and the final balance follow the schedule in your contract. Final payment is due on substantial completion, which for permitted work means the work has passed final inspection.

Overdue balances may accrue interest at the rate stated in your contract, up to the maximum Florida law allows, and we may recover reasonable collection costs and attorney's fees.

10. Cancellation

Where the contract was signed at your home rather than at our place of business, Florida law gives you a three-business-day right to cancel. That right, and how to exercise it, is set out in your contract.

After the cancellation period, cancelling a project may leave you responsible for custom-ordered materials and work already performed. Impact windows and doors are manufactured to the exact dimensions of your openings and cannot be returned or resold once ordered.

11. Intellectual Property

The text, layout, logos and project photographs on this site belong to Visions to Reality Inc. or are used with permission, and may not be copied or republished without our written consent.

We may photograph completed work for our portfolio, website and social media. Tell us if you would prefer your project not be used that way and we will respect it. We do not publish customers' full addresses.

12. Disclaimers

The website is provided "as is". We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components. Information on this site is general and is not engineering, legal, insurance or code-compliance advice for your specific property.

Insurance premium reductions from wind mitigation are determined by your insurer, not by us. We can provide the documentation for the products installed, but we cannot promise any particular discount.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent Florida law allows, our liability arising out of your use of this website is limited to the amount you have paid us, if anything, for services. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of the site.

This section limits liability for the website. It does not limit our obligations under a signed construction contract, and it does not limit liability that Florida law does not permit to be limited.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute arising from your use of this website will be brought in the state or federal courts serving Broward County, Florida.

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force. We may update these terms at any time; the revision date at the top of the page shows when they last changed.
